Two of Solana's validator client teams, Anza and Jump Crypto's Firedancer, have publicly announced they selected the Falcon post‑quantum digital signature scheme and released initial implementations for testing, according to a Solana Foundation update.

Both teams arrived at the same technical conclusion after independent research: a compact, post‑quantum signature suited to high‑throughput blockchains is needed. The teams published prototype code on their respective GitHub repositories and Solana outlined a three‑stage roadmap to migrate wallets if quantum computing becomes a credible threat.
