The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) is a key benchmark that tracks the performance of all companies listed on the Saudi Stock Exchange. Established with a base value of 1000 in 1985, the index was reorganized on June 30, 2008. Given Saudi Arabia's significant reliance on oil revenues, global oil price fluctuations often have a direct and substantial impact on the TASI's performance.
Market analysts and economic models present varied expectations for the TASI's future trajectory. According to Trading Economics, the index is projected to trade at approximately 10444.99 points by the end of the current quarter, with an estimated decline to 9747.84 points in 12 months. These forecasts are subject to changes based on the evolving global economic outlook, developments in oil markets, and the effectiveness of Saudi Arabia's economic diversification initiatives. Investors continue to closely monitor regional and global economic trends, as well as volatility in energy markets.
