Refined Energy Corp. (CSE: RUU; OTC: RRUUF; FRA: CWA0) has announced the final analytical results from its Winter 2026 drill program at the Dufferin West Property, located in Saskatchewan's prolific Athabasca Basin uranium district. This disclosure follows the completion of the company's initial drilling efforts in the region, which are being closely watched by the markets.

The program, conducted on the 100% Eagle Plains Resources (TSX-V:EPL; OTCQB: EGPLF) owned Dufferin West property, involved a total of 975 meters of drilling across three holes. Drill holes DW26-001 and DW26-003 successfully intersected the Athabasca unconformity. The program was designed to test targets identified through the interpretation of electromagnetic, gravity, and magnetic geophysical surveys. Completed within an approximate budget of $1.7 million, the operations were managed by TerraLogic Exploration Inc.

According to the drill results, geochemical analyses were performed on 87 samples collected from holes DW26-001 and DW26-003. Ten of these samples returned weakly anomalous uranium values. The highest uranium assay recorded was 5 parts per million (ppm) from sample DW26-001, taken immediately below the unconformity, representing up to seven times background levels. A detailed geochemical review identified ten anomalous sample intervals, including consistent uranium enrichment relative to thorium immediately below the unconformity.

Mark Fields, Chief Executive Officer of Refined Energy, commented that the Winter 2026 program successfully completed the company's planned drill testing and generated additional geological and geochemical information for the Dufferin West property. He stated that this data would assist in the company's ongoing evaluation of the property. Although weakly anomalous in absolute terms, the consistent geochemical enrichment near the unconformity suggests that uranium potential exists on the Dufferin West property.

The Dufferin Project encompasses a vast area of 10,140 hectares, comprising both the North and West Dufferin properties. The region is adjacent to NexGen Energy's SW3 Property and approximately 18 km from Cameco's Centennial Deposit, where a historic drill hole intersected significant uranium values of 8.78% U3O8 over 33.9 meters. This geographical context highlights Dufferin West's prospectivity for unconformity- and basement-hosted uranium mineralization.

Analysts and market observers are closely monitoring these initial drilling results from known uranium districts like the Athabasca Basin. While the absolute uranium values obtained are modest, the consistent geochemical enrichment near the unconformity is promising for further exploration and drilling efforts. The company is expected to utilize this data to plan subsequent exploration phases, which could be significant for long-term supply dynamics in the uranium markets.
