JPMorgan tokenized money market fund for stablecoin issuers JLTXX
JPMorgan filed JLTXX, a tokenized money-market fund on Ethereum that would invest in U.S. Treasuries and repos to serve stablecoin issuers' reserve needs.

JPMorgan Asset Management has submitted a registration filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for a token-class money market fund named the JPMorgan OnChain Liquidity-Token Money Market Fund, to trade under the ticker JLTXX.
According to the filing and media reports, JLTXX is designed to invest primarily in U.S. Treasury bills, notes and overnight repurchase agreements collateralized by Treasuries or cash. The fund lists a $1 million minimum investment and an annual fee of 0.16% after waivers, and plans to record token-class shares on the Ethereum blockchain using JPMorgan’s Kinexys Digital Assets platform.
The application follows JPMorgan’s earlier on-chain product launches, including the My OnChain Net Yield Fund (MONY), and comes as other large asset managers introduce money market vehicles tailored to stablecoin reserve requirements — Morgan Stanley’s Stablecoin Reserves Portfolio is a recent comparable example. Tokenized money market funds aim to offer faster settlement and greater on-chain transparency relative to traditional fund share transfers.
Market implications include potential improvements in reserve transparency for regulated stablecoins and greater competition among institutional liquidity providers. However, international bodies and regulators have flagged concerns about ownership records, settlement finality and risk transfer in tokenized markets, which could shape how quickly such products scale.
Analysts say JPMorgan’s filing is likely to accelerate institutional adoption of tokenized real-world assets if regulatory approvals and operational integrations proceed smoothly. Fee competitiveness, custodial arrangements and the willingness of stablecoin issuers to use token-class fund shares as regulatory reserves will determine early uptake. JPMorgan’s Kinexys and Morgan Money channels may facilitate initial distribution to qualified institutional investors.
