Evolus Inc. (NASDAQ: EOLS), a global performance beauty company, has expanded its strategic partnership with Symatese, securing exclusive commercial rights for the Estyme® collection of injectable hyaluronic acid (HA) gels in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. This agreement is complementary to Evolus's international product portfolio, adding a new product line alongside its Jeuveau® (known as Nuceiva® outside the U.S.) neurotoxin brand.

Through an amended licensing and distribution agreement, Evolus gained the authority to commercialize the Estyme® product line, developed by Symatese using its Cold-X™ technology, in these three new markets. Evolus already markets Estyme® in the United States under the brand name Evolysse™. Previously, the company had obtained distribution rights for the same product line in the U.S. in May 2023, and for the United Kingdom and Europe in December 2023. The European launch of Estyme® was scheduled for May 2026, while the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved Evolysse™ Form and Smooth in February 2025, with the U.S. launch commencing in Q2 2025. Under the terms of the new agreement, Symatese will be responsible for product development, manufacturing, clinical support, and regulatory activities. Evolus will make an upfront payment and additional payments tied to regulatory approval milestones, as well as pay a mid-single digit royalty based on net sales.

This expansion is expected to strengthen Evolus's competitive position in these regions and further leverage its international commercial infrastructure. The neurotoxin and dermal filler markets across Canada, Australia, and New Zealand represent a total addressable market of approximately $500 million annually. Of this, about 40%, or $200 million, is attributable to dermal fillers. Evolus expects to commence commercialization in these markets in 2028, subject to obtaining the necessary regulatory approvals.

David Moatazedi, President and Chief Executive Officer of Evolus, stated that this portfolio alignment ensures they can deliver a consistent Evolus experience, strengthens their competitive position, and allows them to maximize the long-term value of the commercial platform they have built. The company aims to create a unique advantage by focusing on the cash-pay aesthetics market and targeting millennial consumers, which drives high customer and consumer satisfaction.

This strategic move is considered a significant step towards Evolus's goal of transforming into a multi-product aesthetics company. The company aims to achieve a total net revenue goal of at least $700 million by 2028, and such international expansions play a crucial role in reaching this target. Analysts anticipate that these expansions will support the company's long-term growth trajectory and increase its share in the global aesthetics market. Evolus is well-positioned to drive durable growth and long-term value creation with its expanding global footprint and diversified product portfolio.
